A dress that is simple, versatile and 65% off...

While looking through the children's clothing section of 6pm.com (zappos.com discount web site), I  found this 3/4 length sleeve knit dress from Three Little Dots.  6pm carries it in what they call "toddler sizes" and then "little kid sizes", though it looks to me as though "little kid" just means size 4/4T.  And the discounted price is fantastic: $14.70 with free shipping!

This is the perfect casual or slightly dressy outfit for a little girl when paired with striped tights.  Is is just me, or have tights for little girls become significantly more expensive recently?  These tights options are, unfortunately, not the best deals (ranging from $10 to $20), though the red and navy striped pairs ship for free from Amazon.com.  I have noticed that good quality striped tights get a lot of wear in a season... and maybe even stretch enough in length to fit for two winters.  Perhaps worth a slight indulgence once in a while, especially because high-quality tights do not readily get holes and make great hand-me-downs.
