Eloise sketches by Hilary Knight

I always find great pieces at Janie and Jack (Gymboree's fancier line).  Their clothing tends to be on the more Upper East Side, buttoned-down side of kids' fashion, though they make really beautiful, well-made dressy items for premies through kids up to 12.  Below are some of my favorites (and favorite prices) from the current sale.

1st row
tattersall shirt $36 $13.99, roll cuff canvas pants $39 $19.99, plaid shirt $36 $17.99

2nd row
quilted barn jacket $79 $32.99, bow stripe top $34 $8.99, khaki twill pants $46 $17.99

3rd row

4th row

I am in love with the herringbone knickers!  They would be so cute with knee socks or tights.  And, if you need dress shirts for a little boy, the two options above are great.  Shipping is not free, though Janie and Jack is offering $9 flat rate 3 day shipping on all orders right now.  Perfect items for your next stay at the Plaza with Eloise!

A few years ago, when the Plaza Hotel was undergoing major renovations and announcing its new offering of private residences, this sign graced Fifth Avenue:

  1. You just missed Janie & Jack's Friends and Family... an additional 25% off this past weekend - sale included! Watch for it. It only happens twice per year.

I too liked the pintucked skirt and got it for only $11.25!

    1. Shoot!! For some reason I didn't get the email for the Friends and Family event... I imagine that it is in my spam folder (for some reason it has been very aggressive recently). What a bummer. Thanks for letting me know. And kudos on your skirt deal!
