Kiwi Industries on The Mini Social...

Tuesday, September 4, 2012

When fall comes, I always find myself choosing layered knit clothing for my small children.  It is cool enough for those sunny moments outside in the middle of the day and just warm enough to fend off cool evening air in autumn.  This week (until Friday, September 7th), The Mini Social is hosting a Kiwi Industries sale.  Kiwi Industries makes whimsically printed organic cotton clothing for babies and kids.  The fabric is woven and sewn in the US and, to quote their website, is "high quality fabric, reminiscent of an earlier time before “throw-away” clothing".  This is definitely clothing that will be passed from child to child.  And, at 50% off, the prices are decent too (everything pictured above is either $16 or $17).   Shipping is $6.95.

The Mini Social is a retail site that sells discounted clothing for mothers and children purchased in overstock sales... think of it as an online sample sale.  However, you do need to become a member of the website in order to purchase items.  This is free and fast, however, and I like the brands that they feature.  Click here to see the Kiwi Industries sale items and to begin the sign-up process.
